講演題目 Evolution of New Town Development and Urban Revitalization in Japan by Urban Renaissance
Agency
講演概要 Urban Renaissance Agency (UR) and its predecessor organizations have historically undertaken
New Town development projects to address the post-World War II housing shortage by
providing a substantial supply of housing. While the methods of developments have evolved
over time, acquired knowledge and expertise have been utilized to the current urban
revitalization efforts. Presentation will be made to provide an overview of the urban
development transformation in Japan by UR.
